Stopping a Recurring Member's Auto-Renewal
To prevent a recurring member from auto-renewing, update them to a one-time payer.
- Deactivate the patient’s membership by selecting the Cancel Membership button (see Canceling a Member’s Plan). Make sure you have their information saved, since you will be re-entering it.
- Re-enter the patient as a one-time payer. Select the One Time Payment option (cash/check or card) under Frequency/Type on the Add New Membership page. Choose cash/check as the payment type if the patient has already been charged, so they are not charged again.
- Update their plan end date to the correct date by submitting a support request.
