Importing Existing Member Card Details

Thank you for joining Smile Advantage and transferring your active membership patients to the platform. As a reminder, due to compliance and security protocols, we were not able to obtain the credit card information for your patients during the transfer. All of their plan details, such as renewal dates and plan information, are still intact. To make sure future payments process successfully, you will need to update their card information in our system.

Three ways to update their card information

  1. Update the card before renewal. Contact the patient before their membership expires and update their credit card information on their profile. The system will charge their card automatically on their next renewal date.
  2. Update the card at their next appointment. Wait until their next appointment, collect their card number, and enter it using the Renew Member button. Their membership will continue to charge on their original renewal date. If you need to change their renewal date, submit a support request.
  3. Update the card now. If you already have the patient’s card on file at the office, go to their profile screen in the dashboard and update their card now.
