Our Story
Smile Advantage was founded in 2014 by Dr. Jeff Sindelar and Dr. Matt Kraner, two dentists who experienced firsthand the frustrations of insurance dependence in their own practices. They saw how traditional dental insurance often created barriers between dentists and patients, limiting care options and reducing profitability.
They envisioned a better way: one where dental practices could offer membership programs that provide patients with affordable, transparent pricing while giving practices the freedom to deliver quality care without insurance restrictions.
To bring that vision to life, Jeff and Matt teamed up with Ryan Corby and Ben Leivian to build and lead the next chapter of the platform. Together, they combined decades of clinical experience with the technical expertise needed to create software that actually works the way a dental office does.
